As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace…1 Peter 4:10
What are Spiritual Gifts?
Spiritual Gifts are gifts from God that you are asked to use to strengthen others. The best part? Your Spiritual Gifts can be used anywhere…at anytime—with your family, with your friends, at any job, in any school, for volunteer work–no matter where you are or what you’re doing, God wants you to use your Spiritual Gifts to uplift and strengthen anyone He puts in your path.
Spiritual Gifts and Life Purpose
Once again, this shows the power of God’s plans for you. His purpose for you does not change when your circumstances change. So if you find yourself going in a completely different direction…if a door closes unexpectedly…if you experience disappointment…if things aren’t going according to your plans or your timeline, you have a choice. You can choose to be discouraged, frustrated, angry, fearful, resentful, and give up. Or you can pray and trust God. You can believe that He will show you a new direction…He will open new doors…He will teach you powerful lessons…He will show you why His plans and His timeline were better than your own. And rest assured, He will provide opportunities for you to use your Spiritual Gifts at every stop along your journey!
Why Learn My Spiritual Gifts?
Learning about your Spiritual Gifts can help you see more purpose in every aspect of your life. It will open your eyes to ways God is using you to help others—in both big and small ways. Even in the mundane details of everyday life, He can use your Spiritual Gifts to be a powerful uplifting force in someone else’s day. Yes, He may use your Spiritual Gifts in your job, but He may also use your Spiritual Gifts in your home and with your family, or with friends or even with strangers. Once you know your Spiritual Gifts, you will see just how many opportunities God will give you to use them…especially if you pray about it!
