Communication is more than just talking. Communication is both verbal and non-verbal. It involves words (whether they are spoken face-to-face, posted, texted, emailed, tweeted, etc.) and actions.
How we choose to communicate can have an impact–either positive or negative--on the people and the world around us and even on ourselves. There are 4 main communication styles: Passive, Aggressive, Passive-Aggressive, and Assertive.
Take this very brief assessment below. Be honest. Don’t just choose the one you think is “right”, but choose what you tend to do in the situation given. Then, at our next coaching session, we discuss each communication style and you will find out the results of this assessment and what kind of communication style you choose most often. We will also determine strategies for you to become a more effective and assertive communicator.
